Book Aid International can offer you:
- over 10 years of collective experience including the management of COY partnerships ranging from £10,000 to £1.5 million partnerships
- support from our small but effective corporate fundraising and PR teams
- an off the shelf staff fundraising proposition in Bring a Book to Work Week

- staff volunteering opportunities at our book warehouse in Camberwell
- an association with a well known, respected charity that is supported by a range of celebrity and public figures such as Michael Palin and Joanne Lumley
- an easy proposition for your staff to grasp - £2 sends one book to Africa
A partnership with us will:
- make a real and lasting difference in the fight against illiteracy in the developing
world - demonstrate your commitment to protecting the environment as the books we send would otherwise be destroyed
- provide you with real stories, images and quotes of the impact your support has made to use in your internal publications
- increase teamwork and loyalty as staff come together to reach a common goal.
Case Study: The Observer Christmas appeal
We teamed up with The Observer to raise more than £100,000 through their Christmas Appeal enabling us to provide over 67,000 books to readers of all ages across the developing world. Observer journalists visited several Book Aid International programmes in Kenya, Malawi and the Occupied Territories of Palestine to investigate the impact the books have had.
Cause-related marketing

Furthermore partnership with an organisation that your customers are likely to be sympathetic to, not only offers a unique selling point, but will also satisfy your customers' expectations around corporate social responsibility.

Case Study: Bloomsbury
We received a donation of £134,000 from funds raised through the sale of New Beginnings, an anthology of first chapters published by Bloomsbury to raise money in response to the tsunami. The money was used by Book Aid International to provide over 55,000 books to Sri Lanka and Somalia where libraries and schools were devastated in the tsunami.
