Essential Teaching Skills |
The publisher regularly sends very useful GCSE textbooks to our warehouse in Camberwell. We are particularly grateful to receive single and combined Science books at GCSE level, for we do not always have enough of these to meet the needs of our partner libraries in sub-Saharan Africa.
The Co-ordinator for School Libraries in Eritrea identified a teacher training title donated by Nelson Thornes as one of the most important books we provided last year:
‘Essential Teaching Skills is very important and pertinent to the Ministry of Education library. It is a good source of information on teaching techniques and methodologies, and particularly useful in situations in developing countries.’

Nelson Thornes is one of a number of publishers who donate returns that cannot be put back into stock to Book Aid International.
