Our first ever Kilimanjaro adventurer, Naomi Gane, has returned to the UK after succesfully reaching the summit of one of the highest mountains in the world.
Naomi was supported by her employers, The Booksellers Association, and sponsored by many friends, family and colleagues:
"A massive thank you for your generous donations. I am relieved to be able to say I made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.

The climb – particularly the last 8 hours - to the summit was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but well worth the pain. Thanks to you all Book Aid International have confirmed that £3400 was raised, which means 1,700 books are going to libraries in Africa.
Big thank you again for your generosity and support."
And a huge thank you to Naomi for undertaking this massive challenge for Book Aid International and to everyone who sponsored her.
