Publishers' Golf Day 2009

The third annual Book Aid International Publishers' Golf Day, supported by The Bookseller, took place on Tuesday 9 June and was once again a great success! Ten teams from the publishing world joined host Philip Walters in the beautiful surroundings of Dulwich and Sydenham Hill Golf Club to compete for the honour of best team.

First to tee off were reigning champions, Quercus, who got the day off to a great start under the watchful eye of the teams gunning to take their crown! Some great rounds (and some not-so-great rounds) later the teams made it back to the '19th Hole' just in time for the rain to start! After a few drinks and a catch-up with old friends and colleagues, they then enjoyed a well-earned three course meal and raffle.  Thanks to all the players who purchased raffle tickets and took part in our special silent auction. You helped us to double the amount raised in last year's raffle! Thanks also to our generous raffle prize donors; Philip Walters, James Arnold-Baker, Delta Force, Great Hadham Golf and Country Club, Drakes of London, The Highland Chocolatier, City Golf and Health Clubs, Shirley Pinder and Ochre Cashmere.

So, to the results...
