On 22nd May 2007 The Word, a radio show on BBC World Service, broadcast a show all about libraries.
Authors Lionel Shriver and Justin Cartwright were interviewed. Representatives from two Book Aid International partner organisations in Uganda also spoke about the services they offer to promote reading and to give readers the chance to access electronic and online resources.
