Book Aid International's Head of Operations, Rob Sarjant, is currently in Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe's political and economic struggles in recent years have left libraries of all kinds desperately short of books with librarians often underpaid, and many library buildings falling into disrepair.
Rob is visiting our two main distributing partners, the Harare and Bulawayo Book Distribution Committees as well as a range of libraries in schools, universities, rural and urban communities who have continued to recieve Book Aid International books amid the unrest that has swept through the country.
Click here to read Rob's blog as he talks to readers and librarians about their library service and the difference books are making in their lives.
