Team Book Aid runs again

On October 11 2009, seven intrepid runners joined Team Book Aid International to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon. After a slightly drizzly start, the day brightened up and the runners enjoyed (if that is the right word) a 12 mile run around some of London's most beautiful parks. Our fastest runner was James Statham with a fantastic time of 1hr 50mins. Close behind was Celia Brumby who finished with a time of 1hr 52 mins. Congratulations to all of our runners who finished with excellent times - including a couple of personal bests!

Together, Paul, Celia, James, Laura, Heather, Martin and James have raised over £3,000 for Book Aid International which is a fantastic achievement and will help to send 1,500 books to libraries in sub-Saharan Africa. Many thanks to our runners for their hard work and their excellent fundraising!
