Get involved in World Book Day

It's World Book Day this Thursday 4 March!

How are you celebrating?

The simplest thing you can do is e-mail all of your friends and colleagues and encourage them to watch our short films about how books change lives. World Book Day is the perfect excuse to remind people just how important books are to the lives of people in some of the poorest countries in the world.

You can view our films here: www.bookaid.org/bookschangelives

Lots of schools around the country will be holding fundraising events and taking part in our book review competition. All of the money they raise will help us to send more books to libraries in sub-Saharan Africa!

You can get involved too. Even the smallest donation will make a difference so whether you sell cakes at lunchtime at your work, or clear out your bookcases and hold a mini booksale, you can help share reading with the world.
