Case Study:Bloomsbury

We received a donation of £134,000  from funds raised through the sale of New Beginnings, an anthology of first chapters published by Bloomsbury to raise money in response to the Boxing Day tsunami in 2004.  The money was used to provide over 55,000 books to Sri Lanka and Somalia where libraries and schools were literarally devastated.
