HSBC Private Bank in London supported Book Aid International in 2011 by holding a Bring a Book to Work Week event. Staff were encouraged to seek out good condition books at home which they no longer used and bring them into work from 5-9th December as part of this simple, yet effective, fundraising event.
HSBC staff have also been volunteering for us in our book warehouse, stamping and packing books before they are shipped to our library partners. With over 500,000 books to sort, select, stamp, pack and ship each year, we need all the volunteer help we can get!
