Get changed: change lives
On World Book Day 2012, schools across the country got changed and changed lives! Their fabulous fundraising efforts raised over £77,000 in support of our work. Since then, we are thrilled to announce that over 38,500 brand new books of all genres have been sent to our partner libraries in sub-Saharan Africa.
This is thanks to your tremendous fundraising efforts – we couldn’t have done it with out you!
The following film shows just how the books you’ve sent are helping to change the lives of communties living in some of the most remote parts of Africa.
We’d love your school to get involved once again and celebrate World Book Day with us on Thursday 7th March 2013. We have lots of fun resources available and creative competitions for your school to enter!
