Since 2007 we have been working with the Forum for African Women Educationalists in Zambia (FAWEZA), which is part of a network of pan-African NGOs with chapters in 35 African countries, supporting development of their mobile library services.

Why we work in Zambia
Whilst the enrolment rate in primary education has increased rapidly in recent years there is a lack of books in schools. Getting a good education is hard in Zambia, a country deeply affected by HIV/AIDS and with a difficult economic situation. We want to help schools, universities and libraries to create the best opportunities, to promote reading, and provide information to transform lives.
