Reverse Book Tokens: the perfect gift
We have the perfect gift for the book lover in your life – Reverse Book Tokens are a long-lasting, far-reaching gift suitable for all and you can chose how much you give!
Here’s how they work:
- Choose your gift amount. For every £10 token you buy, we can send five books to sub-Saharan Africa – it’s that easy! For every extra £2, we can send another book.
- Place your order by calling 020 7733 3577 or emailing email@example.com. You can also print this order form and return it to us Freepost.
- We’ll send you your Reverse Book Tokens, personalised with the number of books the token could allow us to send overseas.
- You can personalise the token yourself with a short message for your friend or family member, and we’ll include an envelope so you can send them the token as a complete gift!
National Book Tokens – giving the gift of reading
Thanks to National Book Tokens, you can now give the gift of reading twice over! Look out for the specially designed book token card and 1% of all value added will be donated to Book Aid International to help us send more books to libraries in Africa. You can find out more here.
Donate your car
Giveacar is a social enterprise that raises money for charities by accepting donations of unwanted cars. Giveacar arranges the collection of your vehicle for free, and every car is either recycled to high environmental standards or sold at auction. The profits of each sale are then directed to a charity of your choice – so please support Book Aid International by donating your unwanted car to us through Giveacar!
The average donation raised through Give a Car is between £30 and £45, but some supporters’ cars have raised up to an incredible £1,500 for us!
As it costs us just £2 to send a book to sub-Saharan Africa all donations will make a real difference so please consider recycling your old car today.
To find out more about the scheme or recycle your car please call Give a Car on 0200 011 1664 or visit their website.
