Community Ambassadors – across the UK
Do you believe that books change lives? We need passionate, enthusiastic supporters to promote Book Aid International in their local community and engage new supporters.
From speaking in schools on World Book Day to representing us at literary festivals – the role is flexible and can be adapted to suit your interests and experiences.
To discuss this opportunity in more detail please email us or call us on 020 7733 3577.
Publisher Ambassadors – across the UK
Do you work in the publishing industry and want to use your passion for books to help others? Are you the sort of person who can bring people together for a good cause?
Over 94% of the new books we send are donated by publishers and we are looking for passionate people to help us grow our partnerships within the industry. From organising office fundraisers and delivering staff presentations to sharing our latest appeal on the company intranet and seeking opportunities within the industry to make our work more widely known. The role is flexible and can be tailored to suit your workplace, interests and contacts.
For further information, please email us or call us on 020 7733 3577.
Help us raise money!
We are entirely dependent on voluntary donations to keep supporting libraries in Africa. You could do anything from climbing a mountain to holding a second hand book sale. Find out more about how you can help us to continue providing up to a million books each year.
Please note that we are unable to send volunteers to work overseas.
